Monitoring team raids schools in Mirpurkhas

MIRPURKHAS, Oct 12: The monitoring committee of the district formed by the Sindh chief minister and headed by convener Mansoor Ahmed Cheema, paid surprise visits to different primary, middle and high schools in Sindhri taluka on Thursday.

The committee comprises Mohammed Malook Rajar, Ameer Bux Shar and EDO (education) Professor Haji Khan Rahoo.

According to a press release issued on Thursday, two teachers Rahim Bux and Zaheer Khan were transferred for being surplus in the government primary school Nangar Mari and government primary school Phuladiyoon.

Ayub Mari of the government primary school Abdullah Mari was suspended for being absent from duty while two teachers of the same school - Saeedullah and Mohammed Jameel and a watchman were transferred to other school.

Two teachers, Mir Khan Shar and Akram Umrani were transferred from the government primary school Sajjan Shar.

ADEO (men) Sindhri was directed to post teachers in these schools.

Head-master of government high school Phuladiyoon Mohammad Juman Mari and junior clerk Mohammed Ashraf were suspended for being absent from duty, head-mistress of the government girls primary school Mohammed Siddique Mari, Ms Zohra, Jan Bibi of the government girls primary school Moli Abdullah and Shahida were suspended for being absent from duty.
