Kaur back home after plastic surgery

LAHORE, Sept 27: An acid burn victim from India, Deep Kaur, on Wednesday returned home after undergoing reconstructive plastic surgeries.

Ms Kaur, 41, had come to Pakistan on the invitation of Depilex Smileagain Foundation (DSF) on Sept 9 for a series of reconstructive plastic surgeries. She was accompanied by her brother, Guru Charan Singh.

A DSF spokesperson said Ms Kaur had undergone reconstructive plastic surgery to open victim’s upper and lower eyelids and reconstruct upper lips.

The spokesperson said Ms Kaur would again come to Pakistan for further surgeries in January next.
