GUJRANWALA, Sept 24: The Gujranwala Eclectic Power Company will buy 6,850 new transformers of different capacities for revamping supply system.

The company will send most of the transformers to remote areas during the current fiscal year, besides constructing its offices there at a cost of Rs130 million.

This was stated by Gepco chief executive Rana Muhammad Ashraf Zahid while speaking at a joint works council here.
