LAHORE, Sept 18: As many as 137 Sikhs arrived here from India on Monday to attend a festival in connection with the death anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak. ETPB deputy director (shrines) Fraz Abbas and Pakistan Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee member Surang Singh received them at Wagah.
The three-day festival will begin on Tuesday at Gurdwara Kartarpur, Narowal.
Some 300 more Sikhs are expected to reach here from India on Tuesday. Besides them, a good number of local Sikhs and Hindus will attend it.
During their stay, they will also visit Gurdwara Sucha Sauda in Farooqabad and Gurdwara Janam Asthan in Nankana Sahib.
