FAISALABAD, Sept 17: A fire broke out on Saturday night at a weaving unit and factory of MNA Rana Asif Tauseef in Khurrianwala, reducing to ashes scores of fabrics bales worth millions of rupees. The fire erupted at the weaving unit owing to a short circuit. Later, the fire engulfed MNA’s factory.

Fire-tenders from Faisalabad and Jaranwala succeeded to extinguish the fire after several hours. No causality was reported. — Correspondent
