NAWABSHAH, Sept 3: Makhdoom Amin Fahim, chairman of the Alliance for the Restoration of Democracy, has said that the burial of Nawab Akbar Bugti in a locked coffin was not only injustice to his family, but also an insult to Baloch customs.
He was talking to reporters after offering condolences on the death of former MPA Ali Nawaz Unnar in Qazi Ahmed on Sunday.
Amin Fahim, who is also president of the People’s Party Parliamentarians, said the situation in Balochistan was worsening and termed the army dictatorship a danger to the solidarity of country.
He said people were living in a miserable condition due to lawlessness, price hike and other problems, but rulers were saying that everything was fine.
He said there was unrest in smaller provinces as they were being deprived of rights. Bullet was not the solution to crisis and only political dialogue could solve problems, he said.
Answering a question about joint resignations from parliament and assemblies, he said a decision would soon be taken in a meeting of the combined opposition.
