Cotton testing lab in RYK

RAHIM YAR KHAN, Sept 2: The Pakistan Cotton Standard Institute has established a Cotton Fibre Testing Laboratory (CFTL) at a cost of Rs20 million here for preparing high quality cotton in the country.

Laboratory in charge Ghulam Husain said on Saturday that the government had decided to set up five such labs in the cotton zone this year.

Two labs have already been established in Multan and Vehari in August last while the remaining two would be set up in Sanghar and Sukkur in the last week of this month, he added.— APP
