TOBA TEK SINGH, Aug 28: Political leaders have condemned the killing of Nawab Akbar Bugti and others in military action in Balochistan. District PPP secretary Chaudhry Saeed Akhtar stated in a press statement on Monday that as a result of such actions of the present rulers the solidarity of federation was in danger.

Pakistan Kissan Committee president Chaudhry Fateh Muhammad also condemned the murder of Nawab Akbar Bugti and said all political forces were against the military actions in Balochistan.

220 KV GRID: The federal government has approved the installation of a new 220 KV grid station for the district.

District nazim Chaudhry Abdul Sattar claimed here on Monday in a meeting of union council nazims that the government had sanctioned this mega project on his request.

He said after the completion of this project not only electricity fluctuation would end but also help set up small industries in the area.

The district government would assist the Faisalabad Electric Supply Company in purchasing 40 acres of land on the Toba-Gojra Bypass Road for the grid station, he added.
