LAHORE, Aug 11: The Punjab government on Friday transferred and posted three DIGs. Earlier orders posting DIG Security, Special Branch, Punjab, Mubarik Ali Athar, as Dera Ghazi Khan DIG were cancelled. Instead he was posted as DIG Investigations vice Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan.

Mr Khan was transferred and posted as DIG Crimes Branch vice Tasadduque Hussain who proceeded on training to the Pakistan Administrative Staff College.

OSD Zafar Abbas was posted as DIG Security, Special Branch, vice Mr Mubarik Ali Athar.

Meanwhile, Rawalpindi Development Authority Director (Admn and Finance) Ahmed Taimoor Nasir was repatriated to his parent department, i.e., Auditor General of Pakistan, Islamabad.
