PESHAWAR, Aug 10: The International Judicial Conference will go a long way to learn from the expertise of renowned jurists and ensure quick and speedy dispensation of justice besides addressing core issues facing judiciary, said Syed Mohammad Atiq Shah, President Peshawar High Court Bar Association while talking to APP here Thursday. The conference will commence on Friday at the Supreme Court Auditorium, Islamabad
“The conference is need of the hour and it is a great opportunity for law professionals to learn from expertise of judicial intelligentsia from across the world,” he said, adding that eminent scholars from across the world would discuss various proposals, recommendations and prevailing laws, especially those relating to human rights, war prisoners and child labours.
Behlol Khattak, General Secretary PHCBA said the conference was first of its nature and a galaxy of top jurists across the world would be present in the federal capital. He said it was a great opportunity for the country’s policy makers to fully utilise the conference’s merits to make the existing laws more effective.—-APP
