HIV awareness campaign by district govt

SIALKOT, Aug 9: The Sialkot district government plans to organise workshops and seminars on HIV/AIDS awareness in all the 122 urban and rural union councils with the collaboration of local business community and NGOs.

District Nazim Muhammad Akmal Cheema told newsmen on Wednesday that Sialkot was HIV-free are so far. He said the focus of the drive would be industrial workers and labourers who could be helpful in raising awareness about the disease and preventive measures.
