LONDON, Aug 7: Hampshire captain Shane Warne once more led from the front by taking four wickets for just 14 runs as his side beat Kent in an English 40-over league match at Canterbury on Sunday.
The Australian leg-spin legend was bowled for nought as Hampshire were held to a seemingly below par 200 for eight.
But that turned out to be enough for Warne to work with as he bowled Tyrone Henderson (19), had Kent top scorer Matthew Walker (44) caught by England off-spinner Shaun Udal before bowling James Tredwell and then wrapping up the match when former England slow left-armer Min Patel was lbw for one.
Warne, who also took two catches, finished with the astonishing analysis of 6.3-2-14-4.
