SHIKARPUR, July 27: A woman was killed and her daughter injured in an accident on the Khanpur-Kandhkot road, near Gohar Shakh, on Thursday.

Sobia, wife of Captain Shoaib of the Baloch Regiment, died instantly and her daughter Jiya, 3, was seriously injured when a speedy truck hit their car from in which they were travelling. They were going to Quetta from Risalpur. The truck driver escaped after the incident.
