QUETTA, July 26: A tribal elder of Nasirabad and local leader of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League, Mir Asghar Ali Shar, has joined the People’s Party Parliamentarians.

Speaking at a press conference here, he said he was quitting the PML because of the party high command’s support to the military ruler. He said the situation in the country had forced him and his tribesmen to change their affiliation.
