TRINCOMALEE, July 26: The Tamil Tiger rebels have blocked the water supply to villages in Trincomalee district, creating a crisis situation among civilians and farmers in the area.
The water distribution network running through LTTE-occupied areas in Trincomalee was crippled by the rebels on Saturday, residents say.
