SHEIKHUPURA, July 25: The three-day 208th Urs celebrations of Hazrat Waris Shah concluded in Jandiala Sher Khan, some 14 kilometres from here, on Tuesday. Punjab Cultural Minister Shaukat Ali Bhatti laid a floral wreath at the grave of the sufi poet. Thousands of followers of the saint from different parts of the country as well as from abroad were present.

The major event of the ceremony was a traditional Heer recitation competition.
