SWABI, July 21: The American Society of Heating Refrigerating and Air-conditioning Engineers has accepted a research project proposal of the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology.

Dr Mohammad Sultan Khan of the institute’s Faculty of Mechanical Engineering said the $100,000 project would be funded by the professional society. “The research will contribute towards the use of environment friendly refrigerants in order to minimise the negative impact of refrigerants on the global environment,” Dr Khan said.
