SIALKOT, July 19: A convict in a double murder case was executed in the district jail here on Wednesday. Jail Superintendent Intizar Wali Khan told newsmen that Muhammad Aslam alias Ashuu had killed his daughter’s father-in-law Gul Nawaz and his (Gul Nawaz’s) daughter Sobia at Kolti Hajipura, Pasrur in June 1995.

Earlier, five rapists of Daska were hanged to death at Sialkot jail on July 12, 2006.
