ISLAMABAD, July 19: The federal minister for law, justice ad human rights Wasi Zafar on Wednesday expressed his disappointment over MMA’s decision to hold countrywide protest against government move to amend the Hudood Ordinance.

He said Pakistani nation could no longer be fooled by such elements who tried to exploit their religious sentiments for attaining personal political objectives.

Mr Zafar said MMA always spread disinformation among the people about the government and its policies.

“Hudood Ordinance was promulgated by one man and has many legal flaws that needed to be address,” the minister said, adding that “Hudood Ordinance and Hudood Allah are two different things.”
