PESHAWAR, July 17: Provincial Minister for Environment and Forests Shah Raz Khan has said that the basic aim of a tree plantation campaign being launched in the province was to create awareness among people about the importance of environment.

In a message on the occasion of monsoon tree plantation campaign being launched here, he said the MMA government had evolved a comprehensive programme to ensure public participation in the campaign.

He urged the people of the NWFP, especially farmers, to participate with zeal and plant maximum trees.—PPI
