An Iranian Army officer has been killed in US strikes on the Iranian town of Shalamcheh, in Kuzestan province, semi-official news agency Tasnim reports.

“Captain Martyr ‘Amir Mohammad Salami’, from the army’s telecommunications site forces … was martyred last night during US airstrikes in Shalamcheh,” the agency writes on X.
