KASUR: Two men allegedly committed suicide in separate incidents on Wednesday.
In the first incident, labourer Khadim Hussain (31) allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself with a ceiling fan at his rented house at Sahari Road in the limits of B-Division Police Station.
According to the police, the victim had bought some household items on installments but he was unable to pay the installments for the last two months.
The victim, police claimed, was also having some domestic issues and his wife had left his house some two days back.
Police shifted the body to the DHQ Hospital for postmortem and were looking into the matter.
In the second incident, 35-year-old Arslan consumed poison over a domestic issue in the Khudian area.
He was rushed to the RHC but was referred to the DHQ Hospital owing to his critical condition, where he died.
ORGAN TRAFFICKING: The Pattoki City Police have started investigations into a kidnapping incident in which the victim returned home and claimed that his friend removed his kidney after taking him to Rawalpindi.
According to the police, one Rehmat Ali went missing on June 26, and police lodged a kidnapping case against unidentified accused.
Police claimed the victim returned home a few days ago and informed the police that his friend, Ali Raza, along with his two accomplices took him to Rawalpindi on the pretext of providing him with an attractive job.
There, police said the victim claimed that they removed his kidney after giving him some intoxicating edibles.
Police were looking into the matter from various angles.
