ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Sardar Mohammad Sarfaraz Dogar made a day-long visit to the District and Sessions Courts, inaugurating a series of projects aimed at modernising judicial infrastructure and enhancing public convenience.

Upon arrival at the court complex, the Chief Justice was received by Sessions Judge Nasir Javed Rana and other judges. A police contingent presented a salute to the Chief Justice on the occasion. The visit was part of the judiciary’s ongoing efforts to digitalise court services and improve facilities for litigants and lawyers.

During the visit, Chief Justice Dogar inaugurated an e-library and a daycare centre at the District Courts complex, providing digital resources for legal research and childcare facilities for working parents.

In addition, he launched a project to shift the District Courts to solar energy, a step aimed at ensuring energy efficiency and sustainability.

The Chief Justice also inaugurated a control room and emergency alert system to enhance security and administrative coordination within the court premises.
