Bar room, e-library for women lawyers inaugurated

TAXILA: The Lahore High Court Chief Justice Aalia Neelum on Wednesday inaugurated a newly constructed bar room and a state-of-the-art e-library for women lawyers at the District Bar Attock.

Justice Aalia Neelum was accompanied by Lahore High Court judge Sadaqat Ali Khan, District and Sessions Judge Attock Ali Zulqarnain Awan and other senior judicial officers during her visit.

The chief justice began her visit at the District and Sessions Court Attock, where she held a meeting with judges and senior judicial officers to review judicial affairs and discuss matters relating to the efficient administration of justice.

Later, she visited the District Bar Association Attock where she formally inaugurated the newly established bar room and an e-library, facilities aimed at providing a more conducive working environment to women lawyers, particularly women practitioners, while enhancing access to digital legal research resources.

Following the inauguration, she interacted with women lawyers, spending time discussing their professional experiences and the importance of creating an inclusive and supportive environment within the legal profession.

She also inspected the e-library, equipped with modern legal research facilities.
