KARACHI, July 16: Sindh Assembly Speaker Syed Muzaffar Hussain Shah on Sunday took oath as acting governor in the absence of Sindh Governor Ishratul Ibad Khan, who has gone to London on a two-day visit.

Acting Chief Justice of Sindh High Court Justice Ghulam Rabbani administered the oath to Mr Shah in a simple but impressive ceremony at the Governor’s House. The chief secretary, judges of the Sindh High Court, secretaries and other provincial senior officers also attended the ceremony.—PPI
