LAHORE: Pakistan defeated South Korea 3-1 to advance to the fifth-place playoff of the Asian Boys’ U-18 Volleyball Championship in Haikou, China, on Friday.

Pakistan won 25-17, 25-23, 19-25, 25-16. In the fifth-place playoff on Satu­rday, Pakistan will face Thailand, whom they defe­ated 3-0 in their Group ‘C’ match.
