LAHORE: Prime Minister’s Inspection Commission (PMIC) Chairman retired Brig Muzaffar Ali Ranjha conducted a follow-up visit to the Shaikh Zayed Postgraduate Medical Institute (SZPGMI) and Shaikh Zayed Medical Complex Lahore to review the progress on key institutional reforms and operational improvements following the previous inspection.
Shaikh Zayed Postgraduate Medical Institute Chairperson & Dean Prof Dr Ayesha Humayun along with Shaikh Zayed Medical Complex Executive Director Dr Muhammad Hatif Iqbal welcomed the delegation.
During the visit, the chairman carried out a comprehensive inspection of various departments and reviewed the hospital’s service delivery to patients to assess the quality, accessibility, and efficiency of healthcare services. The inspection team evaluated the cleanliness and hygiene standards maintained throughout the hospital and reviewed the bed occupancy ratio (BOR) to assess the effective utilisation of hospital resources.
