US military says Iranian ship and submarine facility struck by drones

United States Central Command (Centcom) says it struck a submarine and ship maintenance facility in Iran yesterday with one-way surface drones.

“Three Corsair unmanned surface vessels hit the port at Bandar Abbas Naval Base, marking the first time American forces have employed sea drones in combat operations,” Centcom says in a post on X. “Last night’s strikes degraded Iran’s ability to continue attacking commercial shipping.”
