BVH to have cardiology complex

BAHAWALPUR, July 13: A cardiology complex estimated to cost Rs800 million will be constructed at the Bahawal Victoria Hospital. This was stated by Quaid-i-Azam Medical College Principal Prof Dr Syed Ajwad Shah while talking to journalists here on Thursday.

Mr Shah said the schemes for the construction of this complex, an ICU, improvement of the Zanana Jubilee Hospital and an electricity system project had been included in the current year’s ADP.

He said efforts were being made to provide maximum treatment facilities to patients. A modern angiography machine had been installed at the BVH. He said over 1,000 patients were daily being treated at the casualty department.

Answering a question, he said the BVH administration had planned to celebrate the centenary soon.
