KARACHI, July 13: Shahid Ahmed, a system operator of the Dawn Group of Newspapers, died on Thursday night after a prolonged illness. He was 51.

He leaves behind a widow, a son and a daughter.

His funeral procession will be taken out after Juma prayers from Ghousia Mosque, A-Area, Malir Colony, he will be buried in the Model Colony graveyard.

Soyem will be held on Sunday at his residence (A/2-62&64 Malir Colony, A-One Area, Malir) between Zuhar and Asr prayers.
