US Central Command (Centcom) has led a “security dialogue” alongside Bahrain’s defence forces with military officials from across the Middle East, according to Al Jazeera.

Representatives from Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, the United Arab Emirates and Yemen discussed “enhancing defence collaboration across the region”, Centcom says in a post on X.

Centcom Commander Admiral Brad Cooper says the discussions “underscored our shared commitment to regional security and stability”.
