KARACHI: A suspected robber was shot dead and another was arrested in Gulzar-i-Hijri on Tuesday.

Sachal SHO Wilayat Shah said two armed men were robbing a citizen near the University of Karachi when the victim opened fire on them. As a result, one suspect, later identified as Arshad Gopang, was killed.

His accomplice, Bilal Soomro, attempted to flee but was caught by the area people and handed over to the police.
