Bodies of woman, three children found at home in Okara

OKARA: The bodies of a woman and her three minor children were found in a home in Jandraka village, some 40km away in the north of the city at the Ravi bank, in the Ravi Police area on Saturday.

As per details, a Ravi Police team found the bodies of Fauzia (42) and her three children – Dawood (6), Junaid (7) and Dua Fatima (10) – in the locked house of Muhammad Riaz.

District Police Officer (DPO) Dr Asad Ejaz Malhi also reached the spot and the police collected forensic and other evidence from the spot.

The dead bodies were shifted to the DHQ Hospital for autopsy.

Police claimed that there were no signs of torture or any other wounds on the bodies.

ACCIDENT: Three persons on a motorcycle were killed after they were hit by a car on Qila Yousaf Bhatti Road in Dipalpur tehsil.

Rescue 1122 said that it rushed to the scene after being informed and found the bodies of Muhammad Mumtaz and his 7-year-old son Shoaib Akhtar, and 13-year-old Abdullah, son of Afzal, all residents of 27ERB Arifwala in Pakpattan district.

The Rescue 1122, after completing legal proceedings, shifted the bodies to the Dipalpur THQ Hospital.

The driver managed to escape from the scene.
