TOBA TEK SINGH: The Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF) signed an MoU with the London South Bank University (LSBU) for strengthening cooperation in research, innovation, commercialisation and academic exchange.

A press release said that GCUF and LSBU had been collaborating in the fields of nanotechnology, materials science, environmental sciences, health sciences and engineering.

ARREST: Faisalabad FIA claimed to have arrested one Munir Hussain who was wanted in several cases of fraud in the name of overseas employment.

A press release said that the accused was on a pre-arrest bail which was cancelled by the LHC after which he was arrested. It claimed that the accused had received Rs18 million from a plaintiff by promising to provide him employment abroad, but he did not fulfill his promise.
