PESHAWAR: Mohammad Usman, a PhD scholar, defended his doctorate dissertation in a public defence held at the Qurtuba University of Science and Information Technology, Peshawar Campus, the other day.
Mr Usman defended his thesis titled, ‘Association of youth employability and training needs assessment with digital skills training: A case study of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’.
The thesis was supervised by Prof Mohammad Naveed, the dean of faculty of management sciences, City University of Science and Information Technology (CUSIT), Peshawar, whereas the external examiner was Dr Ihtesham Khan, associate professor at Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM).
Mr Usman presented a comprehensive introduction to his topic and gave satisfactory answers to the questions of the audience and examiners. The examiners praised the topic and the research methodology.
Deputy Controller of Examinations, Qurtuba University, Peshawar, Mujeebur Rehman, while appreciating the scholar’s hard work, termed the participation of scholars in the audience in such academic activity as necessary and appreciated their enthusiasm exhibited through presenting academic questions in the public defence.
