PESHAWAR July 11: The Peshawar Electricity Supply Company (Pesco) and the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) on Tuesday signed an agreement which will allow consumers to pay electricity bills, round the clock, through on-line bill payment machines, commonly known as Nadra kiosks.

The agreement was signed in a ceremony held at the Wapda House Peshawar by Chief Executive Pesco Brigadier Sakhi Majran and General Manager (Public Service) Nadra Khalid Hameed Shah.

Brig Sakhi Marjan said that Pesco was making all-out efforts to facilitate its consumers. He said the agreement would be a milestone in the history of Pesco and would enable electricity consumers to pay their bills with ease and dignity.

He said that kiosk machines would work round-the-clock and attendants would be present to guide people how to use these machines.

He said that initially five kiosks and eleven kiosk-counters would be established while another ten kiosks would be installed by end of the current month.

He said in the first phase the system had been introduced in Peshawar and later it would be extended to other cities of the NWFP.
