BEIJING, July 11: China's urban fixed asset investment rose 31.3 per cent in the first six months of the year compared with the same period last year, the government said on Tuesday.

It marked an acceleration compared with 30.3 per cent year-on-year growth in the first five months of 2006.—AFP
