Kuwait’s Petroleum Corporation said on Thursday that all force majeure notices issued during the war have been lifted with immediate effect, Reuters reports citing a post by the government communication centre on X.

Kuwait’s oil production will increase to 2 million barrels per day within a week, coinciding with the opening of the Strait of Hormuz and resumption of commercial shipping, the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation adds.
