US President Donald Trump says he did not want to see “economic catastrophe” amid the Iran war.

Delivering a speech at the G7, he adds, “Every time we talked about the possibility of peace, the stock market went up like a rocket ship.”

He notes that it would go up amid talks of peace, and go down whenever the situation appeared hostile.
