Russian specialists are expected to soon return to Iran’s Bushehr nuclear power plant, Al Jazeera reports citing the head of Russia’s state nuclear company.

The plant “remains our priority”, Rosatom’s Alexey Likhachev has said in a statement carried by Iran’s semiofficial Tasnim news agency.

“We welcome the efforts to reach a compromise on Iran’s nuclear programme with the participation of the IAEA [International Atomic Energy Agency],” he adds, but notes that the agency must “take into account the interests of all parties”.
