Addressing the situation in Lebanon, French President Emmanuel Macron says the G7 believes a ceasefire “has to be full and immediate – that’s absolutely necessary”, Al Jazeera reports.

The US-Iran deal must ensure that the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Lebanon is defended, he tells reports.
