KARACHI: A stray bullet killed a minor girl in Keamari early on Saturday morning.

Jackson SHO Inayatullah Marwat said that 5-year-old Sundus Fatima was asleep with her mother on the roof of their house in Masan Colony near Subhan Masjid when a bullet, fired from an unknown direction, hit her on the eye.

She was taken to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, where she died during treatment.

The officer said they had decided to lodge a murder case against the unknown suspect(s).
