Hezbollah claims it attacked Israeli soldiers and army vehicles in the town of Chamaa in the Tyre district of southern Lebanon, Al Jazeera reports.

It reportedly used rocket salvos and artillery fire in consecutive waves on Israeli forces last night as attacks continue in the south despite a ceasefire.

There are no immediate reports of casualties.
