Oil prices have risen after US President Donald Trump scolded Iran in a Truth Social post following tit-for-tat strikes between the US and Iran overnight, Reuters reports.

Brent futures were up 93 cents, or one per cent, at $92.38 a barrel by 1321 GMT, while US West Texas Intermediate crude was up $1.1, or 1.25pc, at $89.30 a barrel.
