KASUR, July 7: Additional District and Sessions Judge Ijaz Husain Awan on Friday awarded death sentence on two counts and Rs200,000 fine to a murder convict.

According to the prosecution, Rasheed and his six accomplices had shot dead Mian Sarfraz and Imtiaz Ahmad of Mustafabad over old enmity. The six absconders had already been declared proclaimed offenders. — Correspondent
