Health team from Brunei meets CM

LAHORE, July 6: A delegation of Brunei Darul Salam, led by Health Minister Pehin Datosuyoi Osman, called on Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi here on Thursday.

The chief minister briefed him about the health sector reforms programme initiated by the government for provision of medicines and medical equipment at rural and basic health centres.

He said attractive incentives had been offered to doctors working at these centres.

Federal Health Minister Naseer Ahmad Khan, Punjab Health Secretary Javed Malik and other senior officers were also present on this occasion.

Brunei Darul Salam Health Minister Pehin Datosuyoi Osman said both the countries could share each other’s experiences in this sector.

He said Brunei wanted to benefit from health facilities and medical education being imparted in Pakistan.
