40 Afghan army officers hurt in blast

KABUL, July 5: Forty Afghan army officers were wounded, most of them lightly, in a bomb blast that struck an army bus in Kabul early Wednesday, the defence ministry said.

Another person was killed and four others wounded in a later blast, one of about four in the capital, officials said.—AFP
