An Israeli strike on a residential building in the southern Lebanese municipality of Sir el-Gharbiyeh killed five people, including children, Lebanon’s National News Agency reported.

Rescue workers from relief organisations and civil defence teams were continuing efforts to clear the rubble and search for additional victims trapped beneath the debris.
