Chief of Defence Forces and Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir held talks with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in Tehran last night, Iran’s state media reported, according to Reuters.

Both sides exchanged views on the latest diplomatic initiatives aimed at preventing further escalation and ending the war in talks that lasted late into the night, the report said.
