Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei has said the country was “witnessing the Iranian nation’s historic, unprecedented epic of resistance against two global, terrorist armies”.

He made the remarks in a statement issued on the second anniversary of former president Ebrahim Raisi’s death, who died in a helicopter crash on May 19, 2024.
